Silk kimonos specially designed for RUM809 at Scandic Anglais. The project was exhibited in August 2016 and was exhibited in August 2016 at Scandic Anglais, was initiated by the design bureau Straight and interior stylist Sara Garanty to enhance the way colours and patterns influence your mood. With a focus on routines and in an explosion of colors and patterns they were inspired by Colour Field Painting, a style of abstract expressionist painting characterised by its large blocks of solid colors. This style was created in a new modern way through a pattern called Block.
