In their project Digital Glassing, LACC has studied how the modern digital tools can be used together with traditional craftsmanship. In the work process they have combined 3D modeling, CNC router and glass-blowing when mouth-blowing the glass mass into the digital mould.
Every time the hot glass mass meets the wooden mould the expression of the vases changes, this process makes all of them unique.
